Meet Ben Dunn, our solicitor who is in charge of all residential conveyancing transactions. Ben combines razor sharp wit with a calm, personable and friendly manner. He is also an extremely efficient solicitor. He will quickly assess and determine what needs to happen during your property sale or purchase and will take time to make sure that your matter settles with the minimum of fuss. Ben’s calm demeanour will put you at ease and his experience will ensure that you will get the best possible outcome.
In addition to practising law, Ben has a background in property, banking and finance. Prior to joining Welcome Home Conveyancing, Ben worked at two national and international law firms – within teams which were focussed in the area of property law, banking and finance. This exposure allowed Ben to grow his knowledge and experience by assisting with complex and incredibly challenging transactions.
Ben has always had a passion for property law and enjoys the feeling of being able to call a client and inform them that their property purchase or sale has settled successfully.
Ben joined Welcome Home Conveyancing as he enjoys direct client contact and the satisfaction of taking a file from inception through to settlement. Ben also assists clients to prepare their wills – which is an important factor to consider when buying or selling a property.
Ben’s main areas of expertise include:
- Residential conveyancing sales, purchases and transfers; and
- Commercial conveyancing sales, purchases and leasing.
Since joining the firm, Ben has drawn on his knowledge and experience to make a significant contribution to the other staff. He is an incredibly important member of the Welcome Home Conveyancing team. He regularly assists a variety of clients from first home buyers to experienced investors with their property purchases and sales. This includes buying, selling and transferring properties between individuals, SMSFs, and corporate entities. No matter how complex your settlement might be, Ben prides himself on simplifying the “legal jargon” so that his clients are able to make the best (and well-informed) decisions. Ben enjoys the fast-paced nature of working in property law and helping his clients achieve their various property goals – whatever that may be for each individual client.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys going to escape rooms, watching movies, listening to rock music and spending time with his family.
